In recent years, international educational and cultural exchanges are becoming more dynamic and diversified. The Foundation was established to promote the effective and continuous development of international educational and cultural exchanges.
We contribute to the development of international understanding through activities such as building ties between organizations, groups, and schools in Japan and their counterparts overseas, collecting and providing information and pioneering new projects which promote educational and cultural exchange.

 A Request for Everyone

Attaching importance to the field of primary and secondary education, the education of international understanding became crucial.I am confident to say that Japan will strengthen its tie with international community in new millennium than ever before.
For more than a decade since the founding of our Foundation,we proudly contributed ourselves for increasing international understanding and cultural exchanges among communities and schools.
For this new millennium, we will put much more emphasis on
fostering and supporting capable men and women who will be in the vanguard of international understanding and cultural exchanges. I ask everyone of you to join our Foundation's activities and cultural exchange programs.
